Acclaimed future funk collective Lettuce has announced a very special 5-night residency at Blue Note in New York City, allowing fans the chance to get up-close-and-personal with the band’s psychedelic sonics, blissful grooves, jazz rhythms and hip-hop inspired beats. Set for June 27 through July 1, these intimate shows will feature 2 sets every night (8pm & 10:30pm), with 3 sets planned for June 29 and 30 (8pm, 10:30pm & 12:30pm). Lettuce is also gearing up for their 3rd Annual Rage Rocks. Returning to the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Friday, June 8th, the show will feature headline sets by Lettuce as well as The Floozies. The lineup will also feature support by The Funk Hunters and Jaw Gems. A beloved tradition by both the band and their fans, this will mark Lettuce’s fifth time playing at the venue.
Lettuce just wrapped their Beyond the Clouds headline tour, and will be appearing at a slew of summer festivals, including Summer Camp, Candler Park, High Sierra, Lockn and more. Full routing below.
Lettuce’s latest album, the contemporary jazz fusion LP Witches Stew (PRESS HERE) is out now. Recorded live at the 2016 Catskill Chill, the album is a tribute to Miles Davis, one of Lettuce's biggest influences, and is an interpretive take on the historically experimental and lauded Bitches Brew era. Bringing forth an eerie, ethereal, and psychedelic reimagining to what was one of the most impactful periods in Miles’ legacy, Lettuce showcases the technical mastery and visionary expertise they are revered for.
